I would give them 100 stars if I could. My sons cake turned out absolutely PERFECT and I couldn’t be more pleased. Everyone at the party asked who did the cake and I will forever be recommending this bakery to friends and family. Not to mention it was absolutely delicious, I didn’t want to cut it!!
This gorgeous cake was made to celebrate Dori’s birthday. Birthday celebration at Spoonbread with afternoon tea and topped of with this scrumptious creation. Yum.
The best buttercream I’ve ever tasted! I placed an order for my daughters 1st smash cake 100% remotely via PM. I got my invoice the next dish, paid, and picked it up 3 weeks later. The end result was FABULOUS. So much attention to detail and the taste! The Oreo cake is to die for! I’ve been dreaming about it since the party so I made my fiancé stop by and get Some cupcakes in different flavors. I think the peaches and cream might just have to be our wedding cake flavor if they’re available next year 😩 my fiancé who isn’t usually a fan of sweets said they were the best cupcakes he had ever tasted and he wants a birthday cake from here this year (and he never wants birthday cake!) Will definitely be ordering again!
Dana, the owner of The Sweet Life, executed my wishes for my mother’s birthday cake beautifully! I screamed when I saw it because it actually looked better than the picture I sent her. It tasted amazing and everyone was in awe! I’m so happy I chose The Sweet Life and highly recommend that you do as well.
Had a custom Costco themed cake made for hubs bday. Execution was top notch and cake was delicious and moist. Oh, and the icing was yummy.

Stopped in to get some cupcakes with my friend! It was the first time either of us had been to this bakery. It’s a cute small bake shop, family owned, and the owner is very sweet and friendly! Pricing is not bad— it’s what we expected for a bakery that specializes in cupcakes! I got the Iced Latte, Red Velvet w/ Chocolate Frosting, and Lemon Blueberry cupcakes. I tried the frosting from the Iced Latte when I got in the car; it was so delicious I ran back in and purchased another!
Dana did an amazing job with my cake. I wanted something very specific and sent a few inspiration pictures and it was PERFECT. And of course, it was also delicious. Payment and pickup were easy (minus my fear driving home with an 8-inch cake all alone😅). I will absolutely be going back next time I need a cake!
I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to make an exception for this cake. It completely exceeded my expectations in both taste and appearance. I sent over a photo from Pinterest (see attached), and they matched it flawlessly (also see attached). Everyone who tried it said it tasted like a wedding cake—it was that delicious. I order birthday cakes for all my family members, and this will definitely be my new go-to bakery for every occasion.
